Loopring is a zkRollup Layer2 for trading and payment. You can go read about the protocol on their website: https://loopring.org/#/protocol. You might compare them to something like Uniswap in terms of market cap. And if you're interested technology-wise, you should ask yourself how they're different than MATIC. They're similar premises but Loopring is more focused on tailored experiences with hyper-performance rather than anyone in the world like MATIC.

I won't explain reasons why you should or should not invest in Loopring or the technology reasons in this post. I mostly just want to outline the reasons why the price is skyrocketing now rather than before -- and it is marketing related not technology related.
