Dear Equilibrians, the long-awaited Closed Beta will be live tomorrow!
Closed Beta participants will receive access to all Equilibrium features with rewards for active participation. All assets during the Closed Beta will be virtual, and is an excellent opportunity for individuals and teams to explore the Equilibrium ecosystem before full launch, maximize their virtual portfolio, and be in with a chance to share $40,000 $EQ in prizes!
Let’s take a closer look at how the reward system works for individuals and teams.
Individuals vs. Teams
We’ll reward participants with the highest virtual portfolio value upon the conclusion of our Closed Beta. Participation as an individual or with a team determines the opportunities or options for receiving rewards. Being a team player during Beta gives you access to more earning opportunities and allows you to participate in various qualifiers. Equilibrium team members will receive higher rewards compared to other participants.
All teams have been formed and are ready for the Closed Beta.
Qualification Layers and Rewards

Each of the 500 Beta testers automatically qualifies for individual participation. The top 50 will win rewards in EQ tokens after the two-week Closed Beta, ranked on the value of their portfolio.

The final Team qualification will determine the Champion Team with the highest cumulative balance of its top 10 active members. This team will split the grand prize proportionate to the value of each member’s portfolio at the end of Beta.
In addition to the prizes from the various qualifying, members of the Champion Team also earn a grand prize.
Exploring Closed Beta
- Closed Beta goes live on September 28. Here are options to consider during the period.
- Manage your system liquidity via a new convenient web wallet
- Earn on lending assets or securing loans on the Equilibrium money market
- Borrow assets on the Equilibrium money market against a portfolio of assets deposited as collateral
- Mint EQD using a portfolio of assets
- Test Equilibrium’s limit. Try insane executions that might destroy the margin engine, protocol, or business logic of Equilibrium. Denial of service on the DEX, unaccounted tokens, infinite leverage, and blockchain congestion — such efforts will receive further rewards from us!
