We have all heard it said in different ways "Not my monkey not my circus.". Someone else might have said "That sounds like a you problem."
Someone else might say it like "Not My sty not my pig."
I have heard it being talked about like "well it all depends on who the ball is being kicked at."
These are all saying the same thing if it isn't my problem, then I don't care.... A lot of people live this way. People say this all the time what is wrong with it? I mean really what is so harmful about this passing thought? Why is it dangerous?
The world says that it's ok to be this way.
However, this is not the case...
Today's verse of the day is
Galatians 6:1
Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.

At the end of seven days the word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. When I say to a wicked person, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn them or speak out to dissuade them from their evil ways in order to save their life, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood. But if you do warn the wicked person and they do not turn from their wickedness or from their evil ways, they will die for their sin; but you will have saved yourself. “Again, when a righteous person turns from their righteousness and does evil, and I put a stumbling block before them, they will die. Since you did not warn them, they will die for their sin. The righteous things that person did will not be remembered, and I will hold you accountable for their blood. But if you do warn the righteous person not to sin and they do not sin, they will surely live because they took warning, and you will have saved yourself.”
Brothers and sisters, anytime you see repetition in the Word of God, it isn't an accident. It is important. Pay close attention to it.
With these verses today, I put an end to the worldly colloquialism that says "Not my problem". There are more that say it differently. No attitude kills you spiritually faster than this attitude, rooted in selfishness that says I don't care. No attitude kills a relationship faster.
Anytime you find yourself having this attitude RED FLAG! Football fans just think of the ref throwing a flag on the field. The ref throws the flag on a field and calls a penalty. Stop and pray re-center on Christ. The times I find myself in this position are mostly the times where I just got up and started moving and doing without first inviting God to take the reigns for the day. instead I have found myself at times sitting in His seat, the pilot's seat. I am calling myself out because I have done this.... I am so thankful for His Spirit that gets my attention and says What are you doing? He then reminds me of what He said in His word.
1st Corinthians 6:19-20 AMP
Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is within you, whom you have [received as a gift] from God, and that you are not your own [property]? You were bought with a price [you were actually purchased with the precious blood of Jesus and made His own]. So then, honor and glorify God with your body.

James 4:17 NIV
17 If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.
Acknowledging God first.... Submitting to His will. Thy will be done.... This is so important. That means that you have to let go of yours to accept His. I am not saying this is easy it can often be quite a fight.
James 4:7
So submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
