#DACATHONgaming is an informal community virtual conference focusing on building together. Our economy will be transformed with Decentralized Autonomous Communities (DACs)in the future. We are the pioneers of this new future. There’s more to crypto than lambo moons. We come together as a community twice a year. For our second year and third event, we are coming together for #DACATHONgaming with the goal of accelerating DAC adoption and tools through experiential exploration for DAC and gaming concepts. #DACATHONgaming is produced by MetaDAC, a DAC created at our first #DACATHON. Hangout with friends in EOSIO-based communities: NFT addicts, blockchain game creators, Alien Worlds, the Uplift World, MetaDAC, KROWN and more!Share and learn about the intersection of DACs and Gaming!

Metaverses

Share in the special award being given to Alien Worlds for leading the way on the WAX chain for gamification of token utilizing NFT game cards and incorporating decentralized autonomous governance in planetary control.

Communities

Hear more about different communities and community proejcts and how they are engaging their own communities and others.

Games

Hear from creators of EOSIO/WAX NFT-based games and NFT projects using gamification. 

Governance

Explore concepts of decentralized governance in virtual worlds. Brainstorm options for in-game governance and for new decentralized autonomous communities (DACs) being explored and created at #DACATHONgaming.

Creating NFTs

Hear how others have created NFTs and learn to make your own. Think about how you might use them in your projects.

New DACs

Participate in conversations about new DACs and groups using DACs within their games. Add ideas, consider concepts and possibly apply for custodianship.

Make a Game Together

As a decentralized community, we will get together to make a game! We will go through creating the concept together, creating the NFTs, creating the game engagement and whatever else needed to successfully launch a game for the community.

Hackathon

After being inspired by community stories, those who are interested can submit hackathon entries of their own projects using game and DAC concepts. Discover the process for this Hackathon and help create the rules together. Community voting will result in token prizes for award winners. After some time for hackathon participants to work on their projects, join for presentations of the projects and then rewards.

Voting

#DACATHONgaming will provide many opportunities for community members to provide feedback, ask questions, present ideas and vote on various topics in many ways. Community members are encouraged to participate.

w/ Corey Cottrell and Jimmy D is a series of weekly themed episodes with the intent to hone in on specified happenings around the space and bring together the builders, the influencers, and the community for a better understanding of a holistic ecosystem.  

Generally speaking the weekly line up consists of Monday’s BP&Chill, Tech Talk on a Tuesday, Wednesday’s Media Moguls, Thursday’s EOSIO Weekly Update, and Friday’s NFT Game Day. Although sometimes we just rock it old school and hop on in for some tailored episodes solo or with some friends.  Almost always in fact, we are accompanied by one or more guests from throughout the space which share our aim to enable discovery, learning, and education towards this collective experience we have somehow crossed paths within.
