Miyaizumi Meinjo, known by the name "Collage", was founded in 1955 as Miyamori Keiji Sake Brewery and became the current Miyaizumi Meinjo in 1964. The brewery is one of the leading breweries in Fukushima Prefecture, and has received high praise every year in the National New Sake Competition, a nationwide competition for the quality of sake. Originally, Miyaizumi Meishu has continued to produce sake with Aizu Miyaizumi as its main brand. When they first released the Collage, Miyamori Yoshihiro was in charge of the production of the sake, and the Aizu-Miyaizumi was handled by a two-person toji, but in recent years, Miyamori is now in charge of all aspects of the sake brewing process. He vowed to "repay the gratitude of the toji and brewers who have kept Aizu Miyaizumi, the backbone of the brewery, by completely changing the quality of the sake to make it as good as the Collage". The result was that he won the number one prize in the 2018 Sake Competition (Commercial Sake Junmai Category). The relentless pursuit of "sake brewing". Efforts to improve the quality of sake. We envision the future of sake, the traditional industry that Japan is proud of. We brew sake with love.
