One of my favourite subjects to photograph is sky itself. One wise being once said that if you can look at the sky and see the beauty in it, rejoice because your soul is alive! I love to look up, be it a menacing storm, a serene calm blue sky or a dazzling full moon. Sometimes I take pictures, and here are some of my favourite photos of the sky that I have taken in last two years since I got into photography.

The figure in the clouds reminds me of Marry Poppins with her umbrella outstretched. I like how the silhouettes of the people turned out. Also the colours remind me of some anime.

Here's a similar photo but with completely different colours in the sky. Taken on a beautiful evening just after the rain has passed. I end up under the bridge quite a lot don't I?

Maybe someone in the comments can let me know how this cloud phenomenon is called. There were beautiful cloud waves all across the sky. I only saw these kinds of clouds twice in my lifetime.

I played a bit with colour editing here but I like the look. Surreal industrial kind of look.

I call this one "Light & Dark". There was a literal cloud vortex forming right above me and I was lucky enough to get this shot. It was the first time I saw clouds moving with such speed.

There was a storm front coming from the left and I saw this dragon form in the sky, as if it's trying to stop or battle the storm itself with it's nose.

Lastly I took this photo of a cloud that reminds me of an old man's face.
All of these were taken in my hometown of Vilnius, Lithuania. Sometimes we don't need to travel far to see interesting things. In fact half of the pictures are from my back yard! Hope you liked the pictures and would be very interesting to hear from you in the comments which one is your favourite. Thanks for reading and Happy Holidays!
