I love photographing animals

By Edvardas | Edvardas Photography | 6 Jan 2021

I adore animals and photographing them is a great joy for me. Would love to get my hands on a good zoom lens one day to get into wildlife photography more. Oh and a macro lens for bugs please! But for now I take what I can with my standard (50mm) lens, and here are some of my favourite shots of animals, birds and bugs (are they technically animals too?) from 2020.

Neighbour's cat saying hello at my doorstep. It's a very interesting cat. It will always greet me when I pass by, let me pet it once, but if I try the second time it will always bite my hand and start chasing me away.

A Husky relaxing at the gates of a Chinese embassy residence in Vilnius. I took photo this just as the first quarantine was introduced in early spring, so it portrayed the collective situation quite well.

There was a whole swarm of these by the river bushes while I was having a hike at Nėris Regional Park last summer. Fortunately these beautiful blue critters are really not shy and let me get close for a photo.

And lastly a green bug sitting on a patch of white flowers. I took this at a botanical garden where there were many beautiful flowers in full bloom. Hope you enjoyed this short visual trip and thank you for reading!
