Steemit Registration Problem
Is anyone else having issues while registering for steemit account?

I’m a long term user of the blockchain social network platform steemit. I’ve been posting articles and using the steemit network since I registered my first account away back in December 2017.
Steemit members earn STEEM, SBD and TRX when other steemit members upvote their blog posts or group articles. Members earn from all their received upvotes for seven days after posting to a group or their personal blog. After seven days have past, the member that posted will instantly receive their upvotes total value in STEEM, SBD and TRX.
This member earns about $300 USD worth of STEEM, SBD and TRX each day just for posting once a day to steemit and they’ve probably even automated that with scheduled posts.

I can look into this members account and give more information about their activities on the steemit network. If this member only upvotes once per day then they wouldn’t be using their full daily value so they must also be delegating or selling their other upvotes to bots and/or curation trails which will be earning them even more money on autopilot.

Members also earn STEEM and SBD when they upvote other members group or personal blog posts. The amount of STEEM and SBD you will earn from your upvotes depends on a few different factors, the main one being how much SP you own or, how much SP that is being delegated to you
STEEM POWER or SP is essentially your influence on the steemit social network. SP gives you the ability to interact with the steemit blockchain and complete actions on the steemit social network such as, upvote, post, comment etc.
Upvotes reward members on their steemit group and personal blog posts with STEEM, SBD and TRX. Having more SP means that your upvotes value will be worth more to the member that you upvoted.
This is great because you can create multiple accounts on steemit and use your accounts to upvote your other accounts posts meaning you’ll receive the upvote value on your other accounts posts. This is much better than self voting which is when you upvote your own posts. You’ll still get paid the upvote value if you self vote but other users might not like it.

I tried to register a new account but everytime that I try to confirm my UK +44 phone number, It just returns with an error that says, “Error with phone number”. When I tried to find out why I was getting this error message and looking for a solution, I noticed that lots of other people are now also having this exact same problem. It seems like this could be some sort of issue relating to United Kingdom phone numbers only but I’m not to sure if it is actually just the United Kingdom that is affected. This could also be a browser / device issue as I’ve only tested it on an IPhone. If you have any information, including countries, devices, browsers etc. then please let everyone know with the comments section.
I’m building a web app that will work with the steemit blockchain and network. This is still a work in progress, hopefully it’ll be fully functional soon. In the meantime, I’ve published a live webpage where you can keep updated with the current progress for Steem Machine web app.

I’ll also be expanding and implementing the web app so that it also has a hive.blog version. This will give members more choice and options as they will also be able to use all the functions and features over on the hive.blog social network and blockchain, meaning members will also be able to also earn HIVE and HP.
