After Mcdonald's made crypto related tweets and the crypto community waiting to see if the world's famous fast food franchise decides to accept Dogecooin or other cryptocurrencies, a new crypto themed restaurant has opened last week in Dubai giving it's customer's option's to pay in Fiat or digital currencies.
The virtual restaurant named "Doge Burger", is inspired by the popular meme coin and is launched by Rocket Kitchens, a chain of successful virtual restaurants, Doge Burger is the first in the company that accepts cryptocurrency as payments. Local residents can order their food online, pay in cryptocurrency (or fiat) and have it delivered to their address.
Even though the restaurant is Dogecoin inspired, the virtual restaurant also accepts other cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Binance Coin (BNB), Tether (USDT), Ripple (XRP), Crypto.com coin (CRO) and rival meme coin Shiba Inu (SHIB).
The menu is filled with American inspired burgers like the three cheese, beef burger, chicken burger and mushroom swiss burger with variations of hotdog's and fries.

A virtual restaurant/ kitchen (aka cloud, ghost or dark restaurant/ kitchen) is a restaurant without a physical store but only visible online and only offers delivery for every order. Dogecoin is a cryptocurrency forked from Litecoin (LTC) created by Billy Markus & Jackson Palmer. The crypto was created as a joke to cryptocurrencies but had a large following where even prominent people, celebrities show support for the coin. Even Tesla founder Elon Musk & Dallas Mavericks owner show support for the 1st ever Dog coin which also helped increase it's popularity. With the massive growth and popularity of Dogecoin, hundreds of "copy cats" or doge inspired coins have been created trying to grab a share of Dogecoins marketcap which gave Dogecoin the nickname "the first memecoin" or "the king of meme coins".
Dogecoin has receive a wide range of support but also negative responses from critics however, current doge developers including Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin are trying to add more features, such as a Proof-of-Stake model, an ETH-DOGE bridge and possible DOGE NFT's to increase it's adoption.
