Ecency: Conversations tool

Hello Hivers friends,
period full of news on @ecency, in fact today too we are going to see a new tool recently introduced: the Conversations menu

This new function immediately catapults Ecency to first place among Web3.0 social networks in terms of direct interaction between users.
In fact, from today, in addition to posting, commenting and liking, it will also be possible to chat thanks to Ecency.

But let's see how right away.

By entering the Econcy interface from a PC, you will surely have noticed a small restyling and the new disappearing Conversations tab at the bottom right

If this is the first time you click it, you will be faced with this new dialog box in which you can import an existing account of yours, or you can create a new one

By clicking on Create new account, the system will ask you to create an 8-character password with which you can access from other devices.

You have now created your Ecency chat account.
Just click on the + at the top to be able to search for a friend of yours using their Hive username

If the user you searched for has already created his chat account, the following screen will appear with some user information

However, if the user has not yet registered to the Ecency chat, when you click on the user it will notify you in this way and give you the opportunity to invite him.

By inviting the user, you will send him a comment on the last post published by the user, as you can see from the image below. And you can also customize the message to leave as a comment.

Now you are ready to message privately with your favorite users.

If you want a page dedicated to all your conversations, just click on the 3 dots at the top, next to the + and select the Extended view

You will thus be teleported to the extended version of conversations, where you will have an overview of all the chats opened so far with other users

Unfortunately, this new feature is currently only available for the Desktop version of Ecency, but I imagine and hope that it will soon be implemented in the mobile version too.

Once Conversations are also added to the mobile version, I think we could say that Ecency will become the most social Hive ecosystem of all because it will include within it the first level posts with likes and comments (Facebook), the second level posts with Waves (the old Twitter now X) and also one-to-one private conversations (Messenger).

I have to say that I like this Ecency more and more!

periodo ricco di novità su @ecency infatti anche oggi andiamo a vedere un nuovo strumento introdotto da poco: il menu Conversations

Questa nuova funzione catapulta Ecency subito al primo posto tra i social Web3.0 per quanto riguarda l'interazione diretta tra gli utenti.
Da oggi infatti oltre che a postare, commentare e lasciare like, sarà possibile anche chattare grazie ad Ecency.

Ma andiamo a vedere subito come.

Entrando da PC sull'interfaccia di Ecency, avrete sicuramente notato un piccolo restyling e in basso a destra il nuovo tab a scomparsa Conversations

Se è la prima volta che lo cliccate, vi troverete davanti a questa nuova finestra di dialogo in cui potrete importare un vostro account esistente, oppure potrete crearne uno nuovo

Cliccando su Create new account, il sistema vi farà creare una password a 8 caratteri con la quale potrete accedere da altri dispositivi.

Ora avete creato il vostro account di chat Ecency.
Vi basterà cliccare sul + in alto per poter cercare un vostro amico tramite il suo nome utente di Hive

Se l'utente che avete cercato ha già creato anche lui il suo account chat, vi apparirà la seguente schermata con alcune informazioni dell'utente

Se invece l'utente non si è ancora registrato alla chat di Ecency, quando cliccherete sull'utente vi avvertirà in questo modo e vi darà la possibilità di invitarlo.

Invitando l'utente, gli invierete un commento sull'ultimo post pubblicato dall'utente stesso, come potete vedere dall'immagine sottostante. E potrete anche personalizzare il messaggio da lasciare come commento.

Ora siete pronti a messaggiare in privato con i vostri utenti preferiti.

Se volete una pagina dedicata a tutte le vostre conversazioni, vi basterà cliccare sui 3 puntini in alto, vicino al + e selezionare la Extended view

Verrete così teletrasportati nella versione estesa delle conversazioni, dove avrete sott'occhio tutte le chat aperte finora con gli altri utenti

Questa nuova funzionalità purtroppo al momento è disponibile soltanto per la versione Desktop di Ecency, ma immagino e spero che presto verrà implementata anche nella versione mobile.

Una volta che le Conversazioni saranno aggiunte anche nella versione mobile credo che potremmo dire che Ecency diventerà l'ecosistema di Hive più social di tutti perchè racchiuderà al suo interno i post di primo livello con like e commenti (Facebook), i post di secondo livello con i Waves (il vecchio Twitter oramai X) e anche le Conversazioni private one to one (Messenger).

Devo dire che questo Ecency mi piace sempre di più!
