Last September 22, an association organized a clean-up day along the river.

We met in a car park near the river. They provided us with bags and tongs to collect the rubbish: pieces of paper, bottles, plastic bags, cigarette butts, cans, and other things people like to bring when they are full of something to drink, to eat, or to smoke, but do not like to bring away when they are empty.

This was one of the worst scenarios we faced. When we found it, we immediately understood we needed help, so we called other volunteers.

Working in a group of six persons, we got this result in half an hour.

This was the haul of the morning.
