I'm sure most of us know of Doctor Who, I personally have never watched the show it isn't my cup of tea but I do know a lot of family and friends who love it.
When I read upon BBC getting into the NFT based Play To Earn movement we are seeing I was definitely intrigued. Although not much info about the game has came out I'm sure once we get our hands on actual gameplay we can determine how successful this game could potentially be!
It's been in the works for quite a few months now and ever since card packs have been sold, you've also been able to EARN them for free such as I have.
For logging in to the website daily you collect 10 Pandaks. They are functionally a mix between referral points, store credit, and in-game curency. 1 Pandak is worth $0.01 so daily you can net 10 cent worth of "Store Credit."
It might seem like a long time, 50 days of logging in for one pack but who knows what your luck could get you? they also seem to gift at random occasions, I have received a few hundred/thousand Pandaks for still unknown reasons. (I have 0 referrals also, possibly a login streak bonus?)
Which brings me to todays pack opening, I had almost saved myself up 500 Pandaks for 1 pack, but I was once again gifted a random 1000 Pandak a few days back, so I collected my remaining few days and spent 1500 Pandaks to purchase x3 $5 Doctor Who Core Packs.

Now again, we have no idea how these cards will be used at the current time.
There is an in-website marketplace for these cards on the Doctor Who website but I just am not sure of the value enough to risk attempting to sell, because who knows maybe I'm sitting on a gold mine currently!
Every pack/card I own has came for free so it is worth holding out to me for the future, I will also be able to use these cards within my grinding and hopefully they'll help out a ton.
It seems frames may be ultimately pointless? but who is to say, perhaps it is very difficult to level up a card or requires multiple of said card to level it up. Here is hoping at least...
Would be a shame to pack an awesome card like this to have it end up the same as everybody elses when they just win some matches, but thats my opinion!
Worth currntly $35 on the market, definitely will hold out in the hopes it'll be a super rare card to own one day. 🙂 (Serial #60 too! not many around currently)
