A Different Perspective of Manila...

A Different Perspective of Manila...

By Drew Binsky | DrewBinsky Travel | 17 Sep 2020

Manila is a city of contrasts, with some 21 million people in the metropolitan area, and about 5 million of them living in squatter's areas (slums).

I have been living in Manila all summer long, and I wanted to make this video to show you a new side of Manila that you probably don't know exists.

Making this video in Manila was a challenge, but it has been the most touching video I've made thus far. My idea was to bring food and school supplies to kids living in the San Andres Bukid Squatter's area of Manila — where 120,000 people live within 1 square kilometer and on less than $1USD per day.

I welcome your thoughts, comments and feedback on my video in Manila.
