AINULBANAT

Is a word in Indonesian which means "beautiful cloth". I chose Ainulbanat as the title to represent the feelings I have in making this illustration.

I chose the essence of the word cloth in Ainulbanat to represent a feeling of holiness that seemed to wrap the body. While making this illustration, somehow I did feel a total sense of within myself and I tried to describe it with a woman who was not wearing a lower body covering.

This might sound a little taboo, lewd, or slovenly. But what I want to point out is how wholesome a woman's intimate organs can give. I feel that there are many things that can be represented by this, one of which is total willingness and trust.

In my opinion, a woman who (without coercion) is willing to have sex with someone is a very clear depiction of trust and willingness. A woman is willing to put aside suspicion, anxiety, and all distrust of her chosen partner, and this is not something that can be underestimated and should be appreciated more than anything.
