The other day I got a key for the game Deep Space Battle Simulator, Below is my unbiased review of the game.
DSBS has a ton of potential, and the player base is quickly growing. The game has a very simple premise, destroy the enemy capital ship. Before the start of each match, you can customize your ship with weapons, communications arrays, and smaller spaceships.

Overall, the game is still somewhat simple to win since most other players haven't found the best strats yet. The best strategy I've found has been to equip double laser turret weapons to the top of the ship, comms arrays to the bottom, and then maneuver your way under the enemy ship. Since the bottom of either ship can only support 4 items at max, you have a huge advantage by sneaking under the enemy.
If you do manage to pull off this strategy, remember to try and increase power to the weapons and shield systems. The game isn't just about piloting a ship, you and your team will also have to worry about energy consumption and enemies attempting to board your ship. Communication with your team is key!
With all this in mind, the game seems like it can be a great way to spend time with friends. You can play the game with up to 12 players or as few as one player against an AI opponent. Overall, I'd recommend you pick up this game if you want something chill to play. The game costs $6.99 on Steam.
If you want to find out more about the game you can watch the trailer, tutorial, and a ship walkthrough in my video below. Thanks so much for reading and I hope to see you in space!
