Amir Taaki is a British programmer and political activist best known for their collaboration for the DASH cryptocurrency, also known as digital cash. Born February 6, 1988, Amir grew up in London and became interested in programming at an early age. He studied computer science at University College London but did not complete the course as his passion for technology and innovation led him to get involved in open source projects.

Amir Taaki is a staunch supporter of free software and internet privacy, and his political and philosophical beliefs have greatly influenced his career as a programmer. In 2010, he joined the hacker group "Cult of the Dead Cow", and started working on projects related to internet security and privacy. He has been involved in several major projects, including the development of the Tor software and the dark Wallet project.

In 2014 Amir Taaki gained notoriety in the crypto scene by becoming one of the founders of the dark coin cryptocurrency that would soon be called DASH, inspired by the words digital cash. DASH was one of the first cryptocurrencies to implement the Masternode protocol, which allowed for faster and more private transactions than other cryptocurrencies existing at the time. Amir led the DASH development team for several years, working closely with other open source developers to make DASH one of the most popular cryptocurrencies in the world.ba381ef0c297ff16b6d23604f6e3830251997ce49a046eda10e5206bfd93533c.png

He has also been involved in several political projects, including the creation of the UK's Net Neutrality party, which aims to protect the privacy of users on the internet. He is also a supporter of Anarchist theory, believing that technology can be used to create a more just and equal society.

Amir Taaki also has his name in cryptocurrency and blockchain related projects like the Bitcoin project for Rojava, which aims to help the Kurdish autonomous region in northern Syria develop a cryptocurrency-based economy. He also launched a project called OpenBazaar, which allows users to buy and sell goods and services directly with each other without the need for intermediaries.

In summary Amir Taaki is an accomplished programmer and political activist who has made his mark in the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry. His passion for open source software, privacy and social justice has influenced his career and project over the years.

Amir Taaki is no longer part of the DASH developer group, he left in 2014 to take care of other projects. He also had a great collaboration in the dissemination and use of Bitcoin.
