This is going to be a small article about Basic Attention Token and the rewards you get for browsing and seeing ads on the Brave Browser. Before anything else I am very happy with the Brave Browser and it is fantastic that you get rewards for seeing ads ! 

Recently I realized (for me at least) that I am receiving less for watching ads. I was always earning 0.05 BAT per ad and I saw my balance going up from (for example) 1 BAT to 1.1 BAT after two ads and 1.2 BAT after another two ads, etc. Right now I see my balance at 16.360 BAT for rewards. Here is a picture with 100 ads seen so far (indeed 100 ads do not give 16.360 BAT, but I guess they will update the balance soon) :

You can see it went from 16.360 to 16.385. This is an increase of 0.025 per ad. This means that they cut the rewards per ad in half.

I would like to know if other people have the same with rewards. Do you receive less as well per ad ?

I guess this is normal, because more and more people are going to use the Brave Browser. Furthermore price should appreciate in the future so they cannot keep on giving 0.05 BAT per ad to every single person that will opt in on the rewards.

Another thing to notice is on the right side of the picture. You can actually see that I had to restore my wallet. Something went wrong with the wallet (I still do not know what went wrong) but I had to restore it and I had to fill in the 24-word pass phrase. It worked and so my wallet got restored and this is good to see, because it means it works ! In case your wallet gets lost or you change computer, you can restore your old wallet !

I am very happy with BAT and the Brave Browser. There are some bugs every now and then and I have days where I do not get any ads, but Brave Browser is still fairly new, so it is normal to get some bugs now and then. I am accumulating BAT already for quite a while now through their rewards system and Publish0x and it is completely for free !
