In Poland, also in the world, every year on 6 January, on the occasion of the Epiphany Day, street cribs are organized. It is nothing more than carol singing together parents and children, during a ceremonial march through the streets.

This tradition refers to the story described in the Gospel of St. Matthew, according to which the Wise Men from the East came to Bethlehem to worship Jesus.

Representatives of the city authorities, education, clergy, school youth, as well as ordinary inhabitants receive carol singers and paper crowns.

Local associations, organizations and brotherhoods were dressed in the historical costumes of the Polish nobility, carrying banners and flags.

The musical setting of the whole event was created by youth wind orchestras. The common singing of carols and the whole march ended with a solemn mass in one of the churches.

The residents of Kalisz will long remember these moments...
