I wrote about my top 8 grossing articles in July and thought that I would make it a monthly routine. If I want to become the best writer, I have to be attuned into readers’ interests and find that sweet ground in which my writing passions converge with their interests so that I can not only derive joy from writing, but earn as much as I can for my #diaperfinancingfund.

1. Why is your AMPL token increasing in value? (62 cents)

I think I will remember this article for some time to come. I noticed its rising value, felt absolutely confident that you guys would be keen to find out the reasons for its meteoric rise and was proven right. Not to mention that I was so ecstatic to write this article because I knew it would resonate with the audience here. It isn’t every day that I find writing such a thrilling experience.

2) What percentage of your crypto portfolio does Bitcoin comprise? (56 cents) 

In this article, I listed down the various percentages that Bitcoin occupy for many Redditors’ portfolios and it turned out that it encompassed a wide spectrum, revealing BTC haters and BTC maximalists. I venture that this article was easy to read, yet thought-provoking because through all this anecdotal evidence, we can reflect on our own decisions and seek confirmation bias or a different perspective, depending on how open-minded we are! It’s like looking at the mirror without having to deal with our reflections (pun intended).

3) Got my first NFT from Reddit (47 cents)

This article proves that your readers don’t have to be personally involved or invested in a project to like your article. I think some of the people who kindly left comments were unable to get a NFT themselves - but nonetheless left me tips. I think it goes to show that having a novel idea is half the battle won in writing. Something refreshingly different that helps you stand out from the crowd.

4) Hodlnaut halts all withdrawals (40 cents) 

I lost some money with Hodlnaut and blogged about it. On the plus side, writing on Publish0x has been so cathartic for me that I use it effectively to deal with my shock and disappointment. On the flip side, I have become so mercenary that all events are writing opportunities for me. You decide whether this is good or bad for me.

5) The Five People You Meet in Crypto Land (32 cents)

This article was a godsend because the idea just came to me one night. Guess you are able to infer that I am a Mitch Albom fan and have read his Five People You Meet In Heaven book. I know I’m making simplistic generalisations with this article but aren’t stereotypes fun to read when we don’t take ourselves that seriously? I think many of you appreciated the (stab at humour) for this one.

6) What’s your DCA routine? (30 cents) 

DCA is a textbook term but seriously, the way it is applied differs from person to person. While some people choose the same day every month to DCA and proceed to forget about it, others choose to monitor the charts and only strike when a great buying opportunity arises. The former group of people will probably decry this as betraying the principles of DCA. Just the fact that DCA is interpreted differently by different people made this article an enlightening write for me.

7) Turn BTC into Cash - Step-by-step guide (29 cents) 

This article exceeded my expectations because essentially, it was about me converting BTC to fiat and then off-ramping it. Didn’t expect it to do so well because I assume that people either HODL on to their BTC or can’t stand the “dinosaur technology” for nuts. I guess perhaps many readers here are fans of Bitcoin - to the extent that they will graciously support most articles that are related to Bitcoin. I got to test out my hypothesis with future articles though.

8) TGIF made sweeter with crypto; Thank you, Coinbase!  (29 cents)

If you strip this article to its core, it was about me rejoicing about receiving TWO Coinbase Learn and Earn lessons. This goes to show that no topic is too trivial to write about. I think at least one reader benefited from my public service announcement as he went to check his Coinbase app after reading my article. This makes me happy on another level - that at least one person found my article relevant and useful. 

Analysing my above articles, I suspect that you guys love reading about Bitcoin and how-to guides. Let’s see whether my speculation is founded in October!
