I have wanted to cash out my Zcash (ZEC) for the longest time. Since a friend recently asked me this, I thought why not convert my Zcash to cash to illustrate the process?

1. First, log on to a platform that offers off-ramp services. My go-to platform is Gemini but FTX also supports BTC-SGD pairings. 

2. I have earlier turned Zcash to BTC, so let me start off with BTC. Always choose Gemini ActiveTrader because it offers cheaper conversion fees than its mobile equivalent. The following screenshot illustrates how I sold BTC for SGD by filling in a Market order.

3. Proceed to 'Withdraw from Gemini'. I have earlier inputted my traditional bank account details, so I could select the FAST option which would complete the withdrawal within the day.

4. Finalise the withdrawal and I'm done! Waiting for my original ZEC-turned-BTC-turned-SGD to arrive at my bank account. The satisfaction that off-ramping brings never gets old.
