I think shopping will rank as Singaporeans' favourite hobby. They usually go to Bugis Junction when they do their shopping. Bugis Junction is a popular shopping centre as it is near to the lively downtown and consists of various shops that sell popular branded goods.

A unique feature about Bugis Junction is the fountain outside the entrance. Children always play with the water there, so it's an interesting sight. Once, I even saw a man and his children playing there without wearing any shirts! Although I found it strange that the man didn't care about what other people thought about his behaviour, I was touched by his act of love.

シンガポール人の一番好きな趣味は買い物だと思います。普段買い物するときは、「Bugis Junction」というショッピングセンターへ行きます。Bugis Junctionは繁華街から近いし、いろいろな人気ブランドショップがあるし、とても人気です。

特に入り口の前に珍しい噴水があります。いつも子どもがここに遊ぶので、微笑ましい（ほほえましい）光景です。一度、私は、男性と子どもがシャツを着ないで一緒に噴水で遊んでいるのを見ました。男性はほかの人が何と思っているかを気にしていなかったので、私は変だなと思いました。でも、同時（どうじ）に、 愛に満（み）ちた行動を感動しました .
