The eclectic Trekkani Trio was born in 2011 from need to change something in their musical career by those three band members, too tied to the standards of classic musical genres.
The band members are:
– Paua (Bass), historical bassist/second voice of the punk band Conati di Vomito, as well former extreme metal singer.
– Ciande (Guitar), guitarist soloist of the punk band Conati di Vomito
– Van Janus (Drums), folk band drummer Rebel Nova
The three decided to create a very special band and to propose an original Funk’n’roll to their audience.
Singular decision to do not add the use of the voice to their songs, a decision that has proved very adapt as the genre they propose is very catchy and fluent.
They had inspiration from singers such as the James Brown and bands like The Aristocrats with references to metal influences like those of the band of Meshuggah.
They have recently recorded their first EP entirely self-produced in a completely homemade way, the final result has been quite satisfactory; a clear sound came out, the compliments of the case must also be made to Diego Joyeusaz (guitarist of Rebel Nova and Watch them Burn) who is equipped to the best of his ability to give them a very big help.
These three guys, who have been my friends for several years, have a very commendable commitment, they play in their room very often during the week and devote much time to their continuous improvement in the mastery of their instruments, they come to play together up to more than 4 consecutive hours.
For example, Geheugen it’s a song with a simple structure, that revolves around the main riff, when they played it live people always have fun.
