One of the wagons that participated to carnival
Last february I was for the first time at the children carnival in a village near mine. I have never been very attracted to the carnival, apart from a brief parenthesis when I was a child of course, but during the years I have been several times, for curiosity and to do party with friends. I have been living near this village for a long time and I saw their carnival only because I was working that day. I found it interesting, especially for the fact that it is dedicated exclusively to children. The opening ceremony in which I attended with the guys of the community where I work, as well as the traditional passage of wagons through the streets of the historic center, which also involve neighboring countries, has seen children and politicians play a leading role. In the central square was held a real passage deliveries cerimony between mayors: during the carnival period it's tradition for the mayor of the village to leave his own band to one of the children previously elected to school with real votes.
Mayor's change ceremony
The other children instead hold many other roles, in addition to those of counselors and other different political roles, as well as one of the nicest, which is in my opinion is that of the police, the children stop the cars on the street and deliver them fake fines, if the drivers want to continue their journey by car must donate some coins to the children. During the ceremony there was a nice curtain, since after it you would have to attend the usual launch of the balloons, the new mayor pointed out to the old one that on school they have learned how the animals of the woods are often intoxicated by eating the plastics left by humans, so was immediately abolished the launch of colored balloons. Being the country almost inside nature, this initiative was more than laudable, no doubt about it, often adults have a lot to learn from the children, even if in theory it should be the opposite.
