Monjovet (Aosta Valley - Italy); if you go in the woods, in one hour walk from Bellecombe, you can find this village without known history, wrapped in mystery.
A lengend tells that jupiter's temple was located in "Barmas" (another Aosta Valley Village) where the image of the Gods King seems to be fixed in the rock. Jupiter took advantage of his omnipotence to terrorize the inhabitants of the Petit-Monde deep valley by blocking with huge stones the river waters flow, crushing the travelers, or eradicating the village of Rodoz ("Ròdo" - original pronunciation) to move it on the ravine's edge. To put an end to his excessive power, God sending on earth two angels who did not let him go away from the divine revenge and crushed him against the rock on which remained print his image.
