Ingredients:
2 chickens
For the marinade:
200 ml of soy sauce
60 g brown sugar
6 cloves of garlic
3-4 branches of lemongrass
4 teaspoons of chopped ginger
2 teaspoons black pepper
The juice of a lime
For the teriyaki sauce:
2 cloves of garlic
25 g ginger
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 tablespoon of sesame oil
50 g brown sugar
150 ml of soy sauce
200 ml of white wine
1 teaspoon of sesame
Besides:
8 bamboo sticks
Grill
Wire
Preparation:
1. First, take care of the marinade. To do this, hit the lemongrass with a pot or knife and cut it into rings.

2. Chop the garlic cloves and ginger, and pour it all into a mortar. Add the peppercorns and crush everything. Finally, add the brown sugar, soy sauce, and lime juice and mix well.

3. Cut 2 chickens in the center of the breast and open them. Place them skin side up on a board and flatten the chicken well. Spread the marinade on the meat and leave it to rest overnight.

4. The next day, place the chickens on a board and stick a bamboo stick between the thighs and wings of each one. Place the other two sticks under the meat, and secure them with some wire at both upper ends. Grill the meat over low heat for about 45 minutes, moving it constantly.

5. To prepare the teriyaki sauce, toast the sesame in a pan and then take it out. Finely chop ginger and garlic and fry both in oil. Once they have turned colour, add the sesame oil and sugar and leave the latter to melt. Add the soy sauce and white wine and cook until it reaches the desired consistency. Finally, add the sesame and serve the sauce with the chicken.
This is what the final recipe will look like

Of course, this chicken can also be baked if you don't have a grill. The teriyaki sauce gives it the Thai touch you were looking for in your chicken.
if you read my presentation, you will know that I also have a youtube channel, and since a picture is worth more than many words, here is the preparation
