Introduction to Bluzelle

WHAT IS BLUZELLE?

Bluzelle is an emerging and powerful database storage solution for the blockchain ecosystem. It best works for dApps as it ensures that they store their data securely, in such a way that the data remains decentralized and mutable. These days dApps are a lot common and are used by many small and large businesses so as to run their financial transactions safely, to track goods across the world without the need of any central authority. Storage could have been an issue for dApps for the reason of volume, speed, and security. However, Bluezelle is a great solution to this issue as it is powered by a 10,1000TPS blockchain, which means has a high speed and is interoperable across any chain.

DATA STORAGE ON BLUZELLE:

When the data is stored on the Bluzelle database, it ensures to keep the data up-to-date and safe from hacking and other fraud activities. Owing to its decentralized nature and high scalability many are adopting this storage solution. The data remains tamper-proof, safe from performance troubles, and network failures. Bluzelle manages to secure the data from breaching and this way businesses can trust them easily with their important data.

It is interoperable so any dApp on any blockchain can take benefit from it without a second guess. Basically it can be referred to as “Airbnb of databases” as developers pay for the storage space for using the decentralized database.

As the ecosystem of blockchain grows, dApps increases leading to storage issues for so many dApps. The issue is that people can choose either of two options, spending high cost on using blockchain or remain open/insecure if go for any centralized database solution. Like on Etherum storing is expensive and because of larger amounts, it is slow. A centralized database is dangerous for dApps storage as it could be vulnerable, increasing the chances of hacking and tampering of data.

This problem can be solved by using Bluzelle as it provides the advantage of both powerful blockchain along with a traditional database. Bluzelle has a network that is made up of independent storage nodes and the data from all across the world is stored at multiple nodes with no added cost. The data is secure, if one node or more nodes go down users can easily backup their data from the computer hardware that Bluzelle rents out which is perfect for dApps. This way storage becomes cheaper and at the same time, users can gain the advantage of a secure, decentralized, and highly scalable database.

There are 13 or more nodes available on their network for storage of data. Each network is referred to as the database zone and all zones are linked together. Every node is synced so, if one node is offline it does not matter as the other node has a copy. This also ensures that no changes are made so easily as more nodes have to agree at the same time so it is that secure. Moreover, it has an interesting feature, that as the application needs more storage, more nodes can be connected to the network serving the purpose which makes it scalable.

CLOSING THOUGHTS:

Bluzelle is gaining popularity and it will soon become a main component of future decentralized internet databases. This innovation is perfect for the advancement of blockchain as a whole as more and more users get shifted to this decentralized database storage solution which provides them with so many benefits.
