While searching for a photo or two to put on this year's New Year's greetings card for the WW2 veterans' organization that I am a member of, I found some photos with mountains panoramas.

These photos reminded me of their beauty and how I miss them. I yearn for the mountains. I would love to hike up some peak and take a long, long view all around it. I would love to fully immerse in the winter sun and feel the beauty of nature on top of the world at that moment.
