We're two weeks in before Halloween season and what better way to get along with the spooky vibes than by starting on some genre-related marathon-- although this doesn't have to just about movies this week-- you can also binge on some games that'll get your soul rocking from hell and back with what Slain as shared by @nane15 is promising. You wouldn't be getting the slow, eerie BGM here but rather slashing to the rhythm of heavy metal, which might as well give you the perfect theme if you're planning on a Halloween party. ヾ(о-ω･)ﾉ⌒★
What's something not to forget during this season are of course the Halloween decorations! But with rising prices along with inflation, you might not think it practical to spend too much on a considered one-night event (especially with other holidays along the way after this), so what better way than to take out the old decors stored away this couple of years, while also coming up with new ones by recycling how @albakriz showed us with this lightbulb spider! Never been too fond of certain species of these arachnids, so OP not making this decor anymore cutesy type gives me the heebie-jeebies and awestruck look at the same time. ᕳ(ʘ ヮ ʘლ
But since we've got lots of time for preparations these next weeks to come, let's take a couple steps back to appreciate some fun character art as created by @atlancoelho --- this reminds me of those "I Spy" games or "Where's Waldo?" images, but at least you've got an idea on how many characters you're supposed to spot, granted that some are represented more by their pop culture icons-- but the real question here is if you can not only spot them all, but also name them all? d(^^*)
Going still with the theme of being practical in our budgeting, let's take some notes from @aswita and her delicious recipe made of mostly leftover ingredients with this mozzarella grilled rice! I really appreciate how the ingredients here are easy to find in a generally fully stocked pantry, so I might as well try this combination too, albeit I'll probably be using less garnishes 'cuz I'm not much of a fan of big slices of onions. (ಥ⌣ಥ)
If anything, I'm a real fan of anything sweet though, and I'll even tolerate a cup of coffee if you offer me a good slice of cake, which is exactly like how the delicious bakes here in Ritz cafe as shared by @leeart look like! Another win for this cafe spot is that it's got an awesome view of the sunset! Definitely a place to drop by at when I'm in the area, and I can surely imagine myself taking my own sweet time enjoying my slice of dessert whlie maybe being lucky enough to have a seat by the sunset view! (*￣▽￣)🍰
