That is a big update for today! Keeping it short, like URL short! D.Buzz is thrilled to roll out and announce our URL shortening service.

With this new service for the HIVE community, you can now, truncate, reduce, miniaturize, shrink, make tiny, downsize, or condense any of the massive URLs that HIVE or DAPPS on HIVE generates.

The process to make this happen is so easy, just go to https://dbuzz.link/ and enter a URL to reduce. BAM, DONE!

Additional Points to Keep in Mind

Currently, this is just the alpha build that we are releasing. It is by far not the final product, but it's ready to start to be used. Please expect a few bugs.

There are more features that will be added as well As development continues. One of the biggest features is that https://dbuzz.link/ will eventually be all blockchain-based. Currently, however, it is working off a database but that will be changed later on to keep it more censorship-resistant and to reduce the potential of link rot.

Also, currently, there is a limited selection of URLs | Approved DApps that we're accepting to shorten (all they just HIVE based).

Here is the list of the approved Dapps you can shorten the URL from. If you do not see your favorite DApp on the list, let us know on Discord or in the comments, and we can see about adding it in.

We will be opening up more options for listing later on but for right now we're sticking to HIVE-based Dapps.

Lastly, this is an alpha build so it only looks good on desktop computers. We'll be working on more formatting options for phones and tablets in the future.

D.Buzz Automatic Delegation Service!

Another update that we are very thrilled about, is the automatic delegation service! This built-in service now LIVE, triggers when a new user joins HIVE through the D.Buzz HiveOnBoard referral link. The new user will be automatically delegated Hive Power to get them Buzzing. :D

This is a great way to now starting onboarding more users, as it solves some resource credit issues that accompany new users. You are welcome to promote our onboard URL as well to any new user to get them started with some HP in their pocket. Here is our link.
