Hello fans and friends of D.Buzz!
Do you know what is happening in just seven days? Another Fiesta Friday with your aunt Tilda? Sure, but it's also the 6th edition of HiveFest! WAHHHOooooo!!!
For those who do not know, HiveFest is a festival in which the larger Hive community is brought together. It's like a family reunion of sorts, you have your crazy uncle, nephews and nieces you haven't seen for a while, and some new faces along with your loved ones that you care about. HiveFest is a time that we bring together developers, blogging personalities, content stars, game players, and anyone who has a passion for HIVE, or Hive, together.
Because of the global pandemic that has been raging since last year and, still going this year,last year's HiveFest was held in virtual reality (VR) space. This year, the festival remains to be in VR.
What is VR? Well, VR is one step up from your classic Zoom phone call. Not quite as good as meeting in person, however, you can still enjoy meaningful connections, learning about new developments, and in general making new friends... All the while sitting home in your undies, with your pet cat Mr. Whiskers on your shoulders. The future is now, so embrace it.

This will be your window into the virtual conference. You do not need a pair of VR goggles to attend, and you could do everything from your laptop as well.
Installing this application is pretty easy and straightforward. After all, if you can understand Hive Keys, then installing an app should be a walk in the park. The most challenging thing we found when setting up this was how to design our avatar. Mustache or no mustache, hrmmmm...

We are happy to say that @nathansenn and @jacuzzi will be doing a 20-minute presentation about D.Buzz, followed by a Q&A at the festival. The date and time of this presentation is still TBA. As soon as we get the schedule, we will broadcast it for you all.
