Not sure if I can say something original about poverty. As far as I know, 12.5% of the earth's population lives in poverty and experiencing hunger. That mostly happens in countries of Africa and Latin America. Not only this is morally unacceptable but also it is practically dangerous. People are ready to do dangerous things when their children are dying from hunger or infectious diseases caused by poverty and malnutrition. That’s why millions of immigrants are flooding Europe, USA, Australia, Canada. That’s why equatorial forests – the lungs of the planet – are cut down contributing to the planet’s ecological disaster.
It would be better if commodity production and commodity consumption will be more uniformly distributed throughout the planet. People of developed countries must put their heads together to make sure that people are lifted from poverty and enjoy living in their own countries.
