I've seen many opera buildings, for example, Bolshoi Theater building in Moscow, La Scala Theater building in MiIan, Opera building in LA, but I never been inside. That should tell you how many of them I met live.

Although, wait a second. I recall that the third street Promenade in Santa Monica had a group of performing opera singers. Apparently not very famous ones, but their available greatness was quite sufficient for my purposes. Remember how they sang "Oh, Mary, oh, Mary" and then something else in Italian.

Speaking of Italian...Now memories are coming back to me in scraps. Once I went on a cruise around the Caribbean islands. Interestingly, all the waiters were unemployed opera singers. So every time we sat at the table we had to listen to some aria from a famous opera.
