Found a metal chest in my garage with stamps

Hi there,

Recently, cleaning in my garage, I stumbled across a metal chest.

When I opened it, I discovered several albums of stamps. I remembered that my mother collected these stamps all her life. She passed away in 2004. Since then we moved to another house, and among different chores, I forgot about them.

I have opened this box and rediscovered them and it took me some time to scan them and put them online. So far, I've scanned close to 3300 stamps from 130 countries.

Myself, I am not a big fan of dragging somewhere - expensive, uncomfortable, and troublesome. The more satisfying it is to watch stamps and imagine these countries. Most stamps in the collection are from India, Australia, Israel, Poland, Romania, and Hungary.

In this post, I’ll show several stamps from Afghanistan. Not many, 9 pieces.

Well, if I see that someone interested in it, I 'll go on. The next country will be Antigua. It's some little island in the Caribbean. Still, it prints its own stamps.
