How to Spend Your Crypto for Vouchers and Services (No KYC, No Fiat)

Many people don't understand the potential of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Inexperienced people believe it's simply a price that goes up and down, like stocks. You can also use cryptocurrencies like fiat currency, buying goods and vouchers. Another common mistake is believing you need to convert cryptocurrencies into fiat currency, which is absolutely not true. There are services like Bitrefill that allow you to spend your crypto directly on-chain, without creating an account or completing KYC.

You don't have to use exchanges, convert to fiat, wait for a bank transfer, etc. It takes days. This is pre-history. In this case, with Bitrefill, you simply have crypto in your wallet, go to the website, choose what you want to buy and in less than a minute you'll get the voucher you can spend online or in physical stores.

What are the advantages of using Bitrefill?
1) You can buy a voucher in less than a minute by paying directly in crypto.
2) You don't need an account (alternatively, you can register with an email and password).
3) Wide selection of cryptocurrencies and chains supported for payment.
4) No KYC (remember that privacy is a right enshrined in Article 8 of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union).

WHICH STORES ARE SUPPORTED?
The list of supported stores is very long: Amazon, eBay, Groupon, Gemini, OpenAI, Virtual Prepaid Mastercard, Dazn, Shell, AirBnb, Hotels.com, Flixbus, Uber, Burger King, Papa John's, Trony, MediaWorld, Apple, PlayStation Store, Google Store, Steam, Fortnite, Minecraft, GameStop, Nike, Adidas, Foot Locker, NordVPN, Netflix, Twitch, Disney, Spotify, phone top-ups, etc.
Hey, I can't list all the supported stores because there are several hundred. What you should do is take a look because you're sure to find something interesting (stores may vary depending on your country, but you'll find all the major ones in your country).

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Obviously, assuming you hold crypto on an exchange or a non-custodial wallet (Metamask/Rabby for chains like Arbitrum, Base, Ethereum, BNB Chain; Phantom for Solana; Phoenix or Wallet Of Satoshi for Lightning Network), follow the steps below to spend your crypto.

1) Go to Bitrefill.

2) For convenience and updates (if you'd like to receive them), you can register with an email address and password.

3) Browse supported stores, fill your cart and proceed to checkout.

4) At checkout, you can choose which cryptocurrency to pay with: USDC, USDT, Bitcoin (also Lightning Network), Solana, Sui, Doge, TON, etc. In the example below, I'm choosing to pay in USDT. Clicking on it will reveal all the chains supported by Bitrefill: Sui, Ethereum, Polygon, Tron, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, etc. Choose the chain based on your liquidity. If you have USDT on the Arbitrum network in your Metamask wallet, here on Bitrefill you'll choose the Arbitrum network USDT receiving address. Then click "continue" on the right.

5) Once you choose the cryptocurrency and chain, you'll be generated an address and a timer to process the payment. Copy the address and your payment amount and send the exact amount from your wallet (Metamask, Rabby Wallet, Phantom, Wallet Of Satoshi, etc.).

6) After a few seconds/minutes (depending on the chosen network), the payment is confirmed and you receive your voucher (code).

I personally recommend using USDC or USDT on the Arbitrum or Base network, as the network fees are less than $0.01. Lightning Network is also recommended if you're a degen using Bitcoin's layer 2. $SOL on Solana Network (Phantom Wallet) is also great. If you have liquidity on other chains, remember that you can move from one chain to another using bridges: for example, Jumper.xyz or Relay. These essentially allow you to move USDT (for example, if you have it on Optimism) to the chain of your choice (e.g., Arbitrum or Base, etc.).

How do you use your voucher code? It obviously depends on what you bought. The Amazon voucher can be used online on the official Amazon store (in the gift cards section). Other vouchers can be used in-store (if you purchased a gas voucher, you can obviously use it directly at the pump).

SMALL TIPS: BONUS, DISCOUNT, CASHBACK AND FREE VOUCHER
1) If you spend at least $200, you can receive $5 free to spend on Bitrefill. Use my ref link: Bitrefill.

2) During checkout, there's a "promo code" section that can allow you to get additional discounts or cashback during your purchase. The cashback is paid directly in crypto to your account. For example, if you used Jumper.xyz bridge and you are:
- At least level 5, you can get "Tier 1 perk gives you a 50% discount on Bitrefill eSIMs".
- At least level 10, you can get "Tier 2 perk gives you 20% cashback on up to $100 of spend on Bitrefill".
- At least level 27, you can get "Tier 3 perk gives you $50 Bitrefill voucher".

I'm level 16 (as you can see) on Jumper Bridge, so I only redeemed Tier 1 and Tier 2. Keep in mind that Jumper is a third-party service (a bridge) not connected to Bitrefill. It's simply a partnership. Remember, the promo code isn't necessary; you can use Bitrefill without it. The promo code simply grants you discounts, cashback on the amount spent or even a free $50 voucher.

This is a comprehensive guide for newbies, but if you've been around DeFi and crypto for a while, you'll be able to purchase your voucher in less than a minute! If you liked this article, remember to follow me on X (0x_Davide).
