2. Bad News for LTC HODLERS !!!
- European bitcoin exchange BL3P to remove Litecoin (LTC)

Litecoin was originally added to Netherlands-based bitcoin exchange, BL3P in 2017 as a test network to experiment its Lightning Network protocol and Segregated Witness (Segwit) features in an attempt to enable faster transactions with lower transaction fees during the time when Bitcoin protocol is congested, slow and having high transaction fees. With the addition of Segwit and lightning network features on Bitcoin now, BL3P has considered Litecoin failing to meet its core values thus removing it from being traded in its platform at all.
3. How Litecoin Performs Relative to Other Cryptos ?

As of 4 April 2021, Litecoin has made a cumulative return of 485.9% since Jan 2020 and 160.19% since Jan 2021. It is currently the 12th greatest performing crypto asset since Jan 2021 as compared to the other cryptocurrencies presented above.

Based on the 100-day 95% historical Value-at-Risk (VaR) profile of Litecoin defined above, Litecoin is now being traded at a less risky position on 4 Apr 2021 as compared to 10 days before on 27 Mar 2021, with its worst pullback being recorded at 20.27% on a single day during the last 100 days.
