A few weeks ago, a video game for mobile devices has gone viral on several social networks. It is Tsuki Odyssey, a charming video game developed by HyperBeard. It is impossible not to be captivated by its fantasy world and endearing characters. If I had to summarize in a few words what the game is about, I would not hesitate to say that it is the perfect combination between Animal Crossing and a Tamagotchi. A world where animals take over houses and become the protagonists of small intertwined stories, forming a larger universe.

Although for some players, the game could be slow and monotonous, especially if they are used to frenetic action, that's where its greatest charm lies: in the waiting, in watching the universe and the relationships between the different inhabitants grow little by little.

Today, I want to share with you my experience with this game, which has been a constant source of joy and surprises in my little moments of leisure.

Simply beautiful

HyperBeard, a game development studio known for its love of detail and responsible for such well-known deliveries as Adorable Home, Pocket Love, among other gems available for both Android and iOS users, leaves no room for disappointment with Tsuki Odyssey. Tsuki, the small and sometimes clumsy white rabbit, is the protagonist of more than one game. Who could resist loving this character?

Tsuki Odyssey stands out for its artistic quality, especially for an impeccable illustration that pays attention to every detail. In this game, nothing is left to chance and everything fits perfectly in the adorable world it presents. We can easily appreciate the love in the drawing of each object, plant and decoration that gradually integrate into the game's setting and help advance the story.

The music is another of its strong points. It has a soundtrack worthy of its world, and even offers the possibility of collecting tapes with new recordings to adapt the atmosphere to our liking.

What makes Tsuki Odyssey truly unique is its leisurely gameplay and the seemingly randomness of the events and stories within its universe. The game lets you explore a world full of little surprises.

Welcome to Mushroom Village

As the adventure begins, we meet our red-scarfed protagonist on his way back from a trip. But surprise! Our house has been robbed, and we have been left without furniture. Little by little we will be introduced to Tsuki's companions and neighbors, a group of peculiar animals with different personalities that make them quite memorable. From their hand we will be taught the most basic activities to get carrots (the game's currency), which are summarized in cultivating them or catching fish in different points of the map and exchanging them for these.

As the days go by we will get to know more about our village and its inhabitants, a wallpaper and flooring store, furniture and consumables store, the daily missions mural, some neighbors... All the activities, places and memories will be saved in our dazzling and customizable carrotOS smartphone, where we can also access the village's social network and complete its daily photographic missions.

If you are one of the most ambitious players, I recommend the rewards for watching ads, not at all invasive and at the player's choice, something very difficult to find in current mobile games.

If I had to mention a point that needs improvement, it would be the inclusion of more side quests because getting enough carrots to buy the most expensive items is the real odyssey.

Harvest, fish, sow!

Exploring Tsuki Odyssey has been an incredibly rewarding experience for me. The sense of discovery that comes from exploring the game world, each new location, new characters and mysteries to solve, will satisfy the most demanding lovers of this type of game. The level of customization of every aspect of your farm and house bring out our creative side in these locations, making each player's scenario unique. Watch Tsuki's interactions with the world and each object, be patient, this is a game to relax and enjoy, do not worry about the time or get a certain object in the game, everything will come in time and waiting is rewarded. Redeem secret codes and tickets, take and share pictures, in short follow your own pace and you will be surprised with the results.
