Introduction
Every journey has a turning point. Mine came not on just any day, but precisely as the 60 Days in Green series was reaching its climax.
On October 20th, 2025, the market unleashed a historic storm. My account dropped ‑7%. And the most important thing I did that day was… nothing. I didn’t panic. I didn’t change my system. I watched my curve break, and realized it wasn’t the end of my story, but the beginning of its most honest chapter.
From then on, the series was renamed 60 Days in Green: Before and After the Storm. Because the “before” was proof of a solid strategy in normal markets. The “after” would be evidence that this system can absorb shocks, adapt, and continue generating profitability.
But the story didn’t end there.
Today, August 21st, 2026, the market once again showed its wildest face. Bitcoin, which had been moving in a narrow range for almost 3 months, exploded with a bullish move of more than 26% during the week. I was short. The copytrading account lost more than 20%.
It wasn’t just the market. It was also my mistake: I didn’t adjust risk in time when volatility changed. The small account plays a role, but I admit I could have made better decisions. It’s not an excuse. It’s a lesson.
In October 2025, the ‑7% validated my approach: it wasn’t a perfect curve, but a real one. It proved my system could absorb hits.
Today, the ‑20% has forced me to shut down copytrading and start over. Not because the system was bad, but because the context changed and I didn’t adapt in time.
The goal isn’t to maintain a flawless curve, but to build one that is attractive to investors. And that requires transparency, even when it hurts.
It’s Not a Restart, It’s a Redesign
When I write each article, when I give each class or piece of advice to a beginner follower, I don’t do it from a pedestal. I do it in the middle of the battlefield that is the market.
