Last Moment of Clarity is a 2020 mystery-thriller starring about a man who, when watching a film in a newly released movie theatre one day, swears he sees his dead girlfriend on the movie as the main actress. Leaving France to go to Hollywood, he tried to see if his deaf girlfriend and the actress are the same person. We don't know much about how she died at first, but as the movie continues, all of the pieces start fitting together. But we see glimpses of different things from the past. We see him and his girlfriend in the bathtub, spying on their neighbors, oh yeah, also an explosion and his girlfriend being shot in the shoulder. But, like I said, that all starts to make sense as the movie progresses.

He does all sorts of things to find this actress. He shows up to one of her movie premieres and an afterparty where he goes to confront her himself. She completely does not recognize him, however, he talks himself into it being her based off of a necklace that she is wearing. All this time he has a friend from high school that he randomly meets at the premiere, just letting him do all this crazy shit just to prove that the actress is his dead girlfriend.

This guy experienced a whole slew of shit during this whole process which then turns this into a completely different movie. It's like there are two different movies all wrapped up in the same plot. Overall, not a bad movie at all. I wouldn't say that this is a great movie, but it, by no means, isn't a bad movie whatsoever. The IMDb rating on this film is a 5.2/10, yet I say that it could go as high as a 6.5. This movie keeps you guessing in so many different ways that the way this movie ends is nowhere near what you thought was gonna happen just 25-30 minutes into the movie. Highly highly recommend to those that have Prime or Tubi. It's streaming on those platforms!
