BTC above $50,000 and ETH above $7,500?

By PhoenixDev | CryptoWorld - CW | 17 Jun 2020

Yes, you read it right. Could Bitcoin go above $50,000 in the next cycle and Ethereum top $7500?

The prediction

As Chris Burniske (a partner at venture capital firm Placeholder) has posted in a series of tweets, this will occur in late 2021.

Burniske had previously made a prediction (2019) in which he predicts that by the end of 2021 Bitcoin will reach a capitalization of $1 trillion (as long as the volatility of this cryptocurrency is similar to that of the past). So, Burniske explains, Bitcoin will hit $50,000.

But, and Ethereum. According to Burniske, Ethereum would hit $ 7,500 driven by the rise in (and its $ 1 trillion capitalization) and economy.

Skepticism

Faced with these predictions, the crypto community has shown some skepticism. Like Ryan Selkis (founder of Messari), who contested Buniske on Twitter that his prediction had little risk of being fulfilled.

Evolution

It will be necessary to see how evolutionary the markets and see if Burniske's predictions are fulfilled, with a BTC at $50,000 and an ETH at $7,500, or if, on the contrary, this bullish race does not occur, as Selkis indicates.
