The Flare XRP/Spark Token Airdrop date is fast approaching.

You must have your XRP on a supported Exchange, or stored on a supported Wallet by December 12th 2020 00:00UTC .

On this date Flare will be taking a snapshot of the wallet addresses to process the 1:1 token match.

While it is imperative that you have your XRP in the supported Wallet by 12/12/20 , according to the XRP webpage you will have until June 11th 2021 to claim your Spark Tokens. 

Now, here is the important part, so pay attention! This is not the only thing that you have to do to claim your Spark Tokens.

Once the snapshot of your XRP balance has been taken, you must add a message key representing a Flare address to your XRP Ledger Account. This message key is used by the Flare network to determine where to send your Spark Tokens. 

Thankfully the good people at XRP have put together a great tutorial that explains everything you need to do. They provide step by step instructions, screen captures, and all of the necessary links to guide you through the process. 

I will provide all of the important links you need in the resource section of the this blogpost to get you started.

The link that takes you to the XRP Toolkit is the first link that you should probably use.

From there you can click on the drop down menu at the top of the page and read through the different options. 

I recommend reading through each one, but if you are in a hurry to get started click on the Tutorial drop-down and there is a "Claim Spark Tokens" option at the bottom of the list.
