Around three weeks ago, I wrote a post about the oldest video about Bitcoin on YouTube. I aim to write more articles about Bitcoin videos created and uploaded during the early 2010s.
This post is about a video by entrepreneur Molly Templeton who had a popular vlog and YouTube channel called "Rocketboom."
On 29 June 2011, Molly made a video about Bitcoins by telling about the following things:
- Gold standard and history of money
- Bitcoin mining and peer two peer actions similar to BitTorrent
- Bitcoin exchange rate for 20 USD
- Money as a trust system
One of Molly's main points in the video was that money is not gold, paper, or even data but trust in the system.
What are your thoughts and reactions?
