Why Miners Don't Use Renewable Electricity

By Kattt | CryptoTalk & Yobit | 16 Dec 2020

Many countries are switching to alternative energy sources. Some use wind turbines, some use solar energy, and some burn manure on their farms. So why not combine mining and "free" electricity?

This is especially true in poor Africa, where such an income could change the economy of entire countries for the better.

Some eastern countries mine cryptocurrency at the state level using surplus electricity from power plants.

But renewable energy and mining would help popularize the transition to less harmful sources of electricity for the planet and thus encourage those who want to help the planet.
