CryptoTab Lite for Android is a new addition to the CryptoTab family. I’ve been using it for a month and it seems to run exactly as the old Cryptotab browser did with the only noticeable difference a decrease from 1500h/s to 1000h/s. 

I saw the tweets announcing CryptoTab Lite about a month ago and honestly wasn’t super interested because I already had the original browser on my Amazon Fire tablet. It worked fine although having to activate mining every 2 hours is a bit annoying (Pro ups that to every 3 hours). I also wasn’t fond when they added the captcha requirement a couple months back as I’d been in the habit of sleeping with my tablet next to my bed and resetting it when I happened to wake up in the middle of the night, and I don’t want to do a captcha when I’m half awake with the brightness turned all the way down..

Then the browser prompted me to download CryptoTab Lite to continue mining so I caved and downloaded it. I was disappointed with the 500h/s decrease although the captcha requirement seemed to be gone. In the month or so I’ve been using it there’s a new one though where you have to slide a puzzle piece into place to pass. 

Overall the browser runs exactly the same as the old one minus the speed difference. I did notice by accident though if I open the old browser and activate mining it does run at around 1500h/s on both browsers. I’m just going to keep doing that until the old one is completely discontinued. 

Cloud.Boost options are available but from having played around with them before the cost to increase mining speed is about equal to the profit so I don’t see much point.. However Cloud.Boost on Android can be paid for with USD whereas on PC it’s only available by paying BTC (I’m trying to earn free BTC, not spend it..) so I guess it’s a bit more worthwhile paying for cloud.boost on Android vs PC…
