Free Coin Faucets are very popular nowadays in crypto currency ecosystem. All of them are offering some free coins upon completing some surveys, watching videos, clicking ads (advertisements) etc. Some are having free mining options of their native coin.
Here is one of the samples that I tried for a week and gave up today! (1)

First you are requested to register an account with your e-mail, than the adventure begins when you join.
When you enter the site with your account you're directed to a page with a headline saying "This game is Probably Fair". This is like Vegas slot machine. Right underneath from 0 to 10000 number ranges are given with their USD Values and Doge Coin Values. 300 USD is really attractive ! For one week I have never won the biggest lucky numbers but always got 0-9885 which pays out 0.00548045 Doge Coin of 0.0003 USD value , that means it will take so much time to gain some meaningful amount of this coin not just because of my bad luck and also the value and the withdrawal amount limit of the coin!

You always see that "Withdraw" button on every screens that you think you can withdraw any time&any amount you want, but you cannot. At the very beginning you may decide that no matter the value is, I can withdraw and pack every increments even the time is sooooooo long thinking that when reaching a considerable amount, you can exchange it to real cash or any other coins. After some time when you realize that it will take too much time, getting bored, finally you will give up. All of these kind of websites and apps have a minimum withdrawal amount that you are not informed or you don't pay attention in the very beginning and the scam faucets always give an excuse like server maintenance, blockchain failures, high transfer fees etc...when it comes to withdrawal. In this website it has been stated that "You don't have to wait to get paid. With Free-Doge.com you would get paid instantly once you reach our very minimum withdrawal amount. This DOGE Faucet will giveaway free DOGE after clicking a button once an hour." but see that the amount is not given! (picture below)

In your first attempts every hour, after the countdown, you roll again and credit some Doge Coins according to the slot result. But after a while you're asked to submit a promo code they provide in a social media group (until now no code yet), or click one of the links. When you click those links to get one more chance to roll; no-one-knows-when-it-ends cycle begins. Window after window, pop-ups, pop-sides, pop downs....
Conclusion;
1. In this new digital era, faucets are not offering free coins like a charity organization but for your commitment, for your involvement in completing some tasks. This means you are investing your time !
2. Practically you will see that most of the times one click is not enough to credit offered token to your account. In this example, sometimes even when you click the login button to write your email or user name, you are directed to some other links.
This is a general internet safety issue that some of links may not only be for only advertisement purposes but may be for spreading some malicious content and viruses which may harm your computer or steal your personal info like bank account numbers, wallet addresses, passwords etc. So beware and try to read some about internet security and your operating system & antivirus software adjustments etc.
3. Not every "OK" , "Click here to continue" button is the end of your clicking task to get the reward. Until you get familiar which one is the real one to step forward, you will tear some hair out from your head. One click doesn't always mean one second or step to move forward. Some faucets have countdown timers that you have to wait to click again, to start a new step or task. Of course there are some clean, neat and good examples of Faucet Websites. Thinking to share my experiences here.
4. Some asks you for YouTube Subscriptions to finish the task. But it is not always one channel subscription, I have practiced up to 40 for one task only!
5. Advertising and reaching much more potential customers is the reality of Marketing a product, and we should respect all their efforts of the companies and websites to do so. But from a customer's perspective, it is not only about completing a task to get some free coins but it is about time and health. You must take into consideration and do the math if it really worth it!
6. You must be aware of that you are exposing yourself to so many advertisement, not only filling up your spare time and earning some extra cash by doing so.
7. After stocking some amount of gains in your wallet, if the site is asking you to pay some extra real money or deposit some coins to withdraw and to make the process faster, stop and never do it even when you stacked a very very huge amounts. Cryptocurrency transfers cost some fee because of the technological procedures, yes but you should never be asked to pay extra real coin or money to withdraw, while everything is free! You already invested in the form of "time" which is very precious in your life!
8.Pop-up ads, realistic looking notifications that states "you got a message from a girl/boy", "download approval" buttons, "you won a gift", "you made the 1.000.000 click and you win the change to get xxx product for free" "xxx % discount" "call xxx number to claim the free gift" notifications and alike internet activities may; slow down your computer, fill up your cache memory with unknown scripts, or redirecting you to some other websites even in some other languages or having +18 content (especially when using mobile phone, +18 pop-ups are really annoying) or may lead you to pay some extra money to get the reward but exactly for nothing!
9. Some sites provide actively renewed links as a proof of payment from their site, showing the amount of people's earnings withdrawn and wallet addresses, but are they really real and can be accepted as a real proof? There is no way! To my knowledge they cannot be considered as real proof of payments and to any website such kind of links can easily be put from other resources or created or simulated!!!
10. Most of the faucets are very new and sometimes it is not easy to find out customer reviews or complaints when searching about. Do not directly jump in just because feeling that, numbers, percentages offered, you see on your screen, worth to deal with.
These are my observations from my practices on some Faucets. There are so many others with some other functions offered to the customers. There are some real and professional ones doing their jobs as a real business in this advertising market that you have to find out if you really want to put some effort in such kind of activity. It is all abut a choice; being a victim or a customer! Anyway this blockchain tech is looking like offering endless opportunities for the new digital age.
Good luck to everyone in this crypto jungle.
