Recently, Telegram introduced their Gram Wallet on the TON test network which supports Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems. Once you have downloaded the application you can create a wallet or import an existing one. Make sure to save your seed phrase which consists of 24 characters as you will need this to restore your wallet in case of corruption, loss of passwords or devices.
These test Grams can be obtained through contacting the Telegram Bot which will give out 5 to 20 tokens.
Telegrams new Gram wallet will allow you to send and receive tokens in the test network. It also provides the ability to change the network that the user is located in by using the settings.
As previously reported, the TON network release was supposed to be in October, however the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) stepped in, delaying them hugely. The lawsuit hearings in the case are schedule for February 18 – 19, 2020.
The TON investors did agree not to demand a refund and to wait until April 30th, which was sent in an email by Telegram to the investors.
At the beginning of October, Telegram published the terms and conditions for using the wallet application and asked if investors could share their public keys using TON’s key generator, which is now built into the app.
