In today's Article I am going to go over a Blockchain Game called Upland.

WHAT IS UPLAND?

Upland is a digital property management game, the developers took the Monopoly style context and turned it into an online NFT Blockchain game which is run on the EOS chain. Players can mint, buy and sell their digital properties in exchange for USD. Millions of players play this game on a daily basis and the game continues to grow. London and Birmingham have just been released, this is really good news and I am happy to see Upland grow into Europe now.

UPLAND CURRENCY

At first, the game looks quite confusing and it is. In simple terms, basically you want to build up your property empire step by step and eventually earn passive income so you can buy properties every 3-5 days. This is my strategy, however everyone has a different strategy. There are 2 types of in-game currencies in Upland. UPX and SPARK, UPX is used to buy properties and to travel to different cities/countries.

HOW TO EARN UPX AND SPARK?

If you are a beginner or if you are not sure how to hunt for treasure, you have come to the right place. You are able to hunt for treasure chests on a daily basis, in the chests there will be UPX and a chance of SPARK too. SPARK let's you stake on your property and you can build on it OR you can stake on other user's property and earn passive UPX (see pic below).

SUMMARY

Overall, this game is very entertaining and I hunt for treasure EVERYDAY. When you start getting good at hunting (takes about 3-5 days) you can easily earn 1k+ UPX plus SPARK on a daily basis. If you have gone through the Womplay link at the start of this article, you will earn even more long term compared to someone who didn't sign up to Womplay. I suggest that you have a strategy from the get go, this should be hunting in Ruterford and building up a web (40+ props spread around) in another city which should be tier 1 or tier 2 (see pic below). For example, I am still hunting in Rutherford on a daily basis and building up my web in Queens.
