Yesterday, Publish0x announced that it is partnering with KuCoin exchange to process the $AMPL and $ETH withdrawals. You can choose if you want to withdraw your earned tokens to your wallet or directly to KuCoin. This option is not ready now but withdrawals to KuCoin will be available next week. So the question is what are you going to do?
I have decided to withdraw my $AMPL and $ETH earnings from Publish0x directly to KuCoin. Here is why.
I have spotted five benefits for withdrawing my earnings from Publish0x directly to KuCoin:
1. The first benefit is that I am receiving 10% of my earnings on top of my withdrawals at least for the next couple of weeks.
2. The second benefit is that withdrawals are happening more often. You can withdraw weekly to your KuCoin account but only monthly to your wallet.
3. The withdrawal limit is much lower if you decide to withdraw to KuCoin. Only 50 cents for KuCoin withdrawals but $5 for wallet withdrawals.
4. Now the biggest benefit is when it comes to $AMPL withdrawals. If you keep small amounts of $AMPL in your wallet, you are somehow forced to hodl it. Why? Because there are only two options right now to trade your AMPL and these two options are KuCoin and Uniswap. Trading them on Uniswap costs a bunch of gas, currently around $100. Transferring your $AMPL from your wallet to KuCoin will cost you transaction fees, currently around $15. If you want to trade your $AMPL at some point, the best option is to already have them on KuCoin.
5. Storing some of my funds on KuCoin is also a form of diversification. I don`t hodl all my crypto in just one wallet or on just one exchange. Why? Because when this wallet gets compromised for some reason or the exchange gets hacked, then I haven`t lost all my funds at once. I hodl them in different wallets and on different platforms like Binance, BlockFi, Cake DeFi, just to name a few. In this way, I can spread the risks. At the same time, I can enjoy unique benefits from the different platforms. The unique benefit of holding some of my funds on KuCoin is that I can use them to hunt low market cap gems.
