Presearch Is Rolling Out A New Web3 Withdrawal System

Presearch Is Rolling Out A New Web3 Withdrawal System

Presearch is a decentralized search engine that rewards you with $PRE tokens for searching the web. $PRE is an ERC20 token and since Ethereum gas fees had become quite high, withdrawing from Presearch was quite a hassle. This has now changed as Presearch has implemented a Web3 withdrawal feature.

At the end of 2020, Ethereum gas fees became problematically high. Projects that are using the Ethereum blockchain were heavily affected by this development and had to come up with a solution. Presearch is one of these projects that is affected by high Ethereum gas fees. The process of withdrawing tokens from Presearch was pretty inconvenient. I described the hassle with the old system in one of my previous posts with the title "Presearch And The Unsolved Issue Of High Ethereum Gas Fees".

Finally, Presearch comes up with a solution and rolls out the new Web3 withdrawal function within the first week of July to its users. This new Web3 withdrawals function is one of the most anticipated releases in the history of Presearch.

Presearch will be opening up access to the new Web3 withdrawal function over the coming days on a progressive basis. This process should be finished after the first week of July. You can read the announcement from Presearch about the Web3 Withdrawals Release here.

Personally, I would have preferred another blockchain for the $PRE token or a Layer2 solution like Loopring. These solutions would have reduced the high gas fees which is not the case with Web3 withdrawals that still require you to pay the high Ethereum gas fees. However, the Web3 solution is still much better than before.

If you want to withdraw your $PRE tokens then you still need to reach the minimum of 1,000 $PRE tokens.

You also have to move your $PRE tokens from your rewards account to your savings account. You need to claim your $PRE tokens from the Rewards account to your savings account. I explained how this works in detail in one of my previous posts with the title "Presearch Has Implemented A New Rewards Verification System (RVS)".

The new Web3 withdrawal function enables you to initiate a withdrawal request of the $PRE tokens from your savings account to an external wallet. Your wallet should contain enough Ethereum to cover the gas fees. You can use Metamask or connect your wallet via WalletConnect.

You can find all steps involved in authorizing a withdrawal request here in the official Presearch announcement.

My Final Words

Finally, Presearch came up with an answer to the high Ethereum gas fees. I am still waiting that the new Web3 withdrawal function goes live in my account. What about you? Can you withdraw your tokens with the Web3 withdrawal function and what is your opinion on the new functionality? It would be awesome if you leave a comment under this post.

Also, don't forget that you can receive your first 25 PRE for FREE just for signing up via this invitation link. Keep in mind that you only get them when you use an invitation link for signing up. If you don't use such an invitation link, you won't receive them. So if you are not already using Presearch right now, you can use my invitation link to receive your first 25 $PRE tokens for free.

In the end, I hope I could provide you with some useful and interesting information about the new Presearch Web3 withdrawal system.
