Buying Fractions of Bored Apes on the New NFT ETF Trading Zone on KuCoin

Did you always wanted to invest in Bored Apes but they are simply way too expensive? Well, then you should check out a new innovative way to trade fractions of NFTs. KuCoin, also known as the people's exchange, recently introduced NFT ETF trading.

Let me explain everything you need to know about the new NFT ETF trading zone on KuCoin. Let's see what it is, how it works, and what the advantages are.

The New NFT ETF Trading Zone on KuCoin

ETFs are already well known in traditional stock markets. Exchange-traded funds (ETFs) are a kind of pooled investment security that operates much like a mutual fund. Typically, ETFs will track a particular index or sector. In the case of KuCoin NFT ETF particular underlying blue-chip NFT assets are being marked.

KuCoin NFT ETFs are proportionally shared ownerships of native blue-chip NFTs, through directly purchasing shares of them. The token hiBAYC, for example, is representing 1/1,000,000 ownership of BAYC (Bored Ape Yacht Club).

What are the Advantages of KuCoin NFT ETF?

Let's say that you want to invest in so-called blue-chip NFTs like Bored Apes or Crypto Punks. A bored Ape NFT costs around 90 $ETH on OpenSea. Even in the current bear market, Ethereum is being traded at around $1500. Most of you will probably not be able to spend such an incredibly high amount on one single NFT. This is where KuCoin, the people's exchange, comes into play.

With KuCoin NFT ETF, the threshold for investing in expensive blue-chip NFTs is becoming extremely low. Now, basically, everyone can invest in such high potential NFTs, even the smallest investor who can purchase NFT ETFs with $USDT.

Another benefit of using KuCoin NFT ETF is that it makes managing your NFTs much easier. You do not need to have any more concerns about managing different NFT infrastructures like trading platforms, wallets, and blockchains.

Finally, you get an exceptional good NFT trading experience because KuCoin NFT ETF provides world-class liquidity just like the traditional spot trading on KuCoin.

What NFT ETFs are provided by KuCoin NFT ETF?

KuCoin NFT ETF is featured in connecting the decentralized and centralized world of top blue-chip NFTs.

KuCoin will soon provide five NFT ETFs covering BAYC, PUNKS, SANDBOX, and OTHERDEED. NFT ETF number five will be ENS which also functions as an underlying asset to the KuCoin community. hiBAYC, hiSAND33, and hiPUNKS are already tradable on KuCoin NFT ETF. hiKODA, and hiENS4 are expected to follow soon.

There are probably more blue-chip NFT projects being added in the future.

Partnership with Fracton Protocol

To realize the new NFT ETF trading zone, KuCoin has partnered with Fracton Protocol. Fracton Protocol provides permissionless liquidity
as well as oracles for all kinds of different NFT collectibles.

Fracton Protocol works with a 2-step fractionalization to turn costly blue-chip NFTs into affordable shares. At the beginning of the process, there is one complete blue-chip NFT like a Bored Ape. This NFT gets fractionalized into multiple Fungible Tokens (FTs). Then each fractionalized fungible token gets further fractionalized into Fractionalized Fungible Tokens (FFTs).

In this way of fractionalizing, Fracton Protocol is able to provide permissionless liquidity and oracle for all kinds of different NFTs. It can be easily integrated into Centralized exchanges as well as into dApps.
