Most of you already know from one of my previous posts that Polkastarter is one of my TOP 3 DeFi Altcoins Powered By Polkadot. I believe that Polkastarter has huge potential and that it is primed for some massive gains. To fully understand the potential of Polkastarter you have to do a hell lot of research. Luckily for you, I have already done most of the research for you. So, here is what I found out about Polkastarter and its potential of being a low market cap gem. 

What Is Polkastarter?

Decentralized exchanges on Ethereum like Uniswap or Loopring have performed really well but in the end, there is more than just Ethereum. There is also a need and a demand for DEXes outside Ethereum.

Polkastarter is going to establish a multi-chain, interoperable, decentralized exchange. So users will be able to use assets that go way beyond the ERC-20 token standard. 

Finally, Polkastarter is going to be more than just token swaps. There will also be some other cool stuff like fundraising, auctions, and closed OTC deals with password protection. So Polkastarter actually has a lot of different use-cases and I believe that all this is going to be massive for the whole Polkadot ecosystem.

Cheap transactions, secure ultra-fast swaps, user-friendly design, and the possibility to buy and move assets between blockchains.

The Polkastarter Token $POLS

$POLS is Polkastarter`s native token. At the end of September 2020, $POLS started as an ERC-20 token running on the Ethereum blockchain. The migration to the Polkadot network is planned for the first quarter of 2021.

Holders of $POLS will be able to vote on product features, token utility, types of auctions, and on projects getting featured by Polkastarter. Furthermore, transaction fees for Polkastarter pools will be paid in $POLS. Pools will also require that creators are holding a certain amount of $POLS.

Polkastarter`s price today is $0.45. $POLS has a circulating supply of 16 Million coins and a maximum supply of 100 Million coins. As you can see in the CoinGecko widget, the market capitalization is still quite low which leads to high volatility.

Uniswap (v2) is the current most active market trading $POLS. Since the $POLS still is a standard ERC-20 token, you can store it in any wallet with ERC-20 capabilities like Trust Wallet, Guarda Wallet, or Atomic Wallet.

Polkastarter Roadmap

You should be aware that there is no fully working product right now. This means, that a look a the Polkastarter Roadmap is really important as well as keeping an eye on further development.

By the end of the year, Polkastarter is planning to introduce permissionless listings, liquidity mining, fixed token swaps, anti-scam features, and high slippage alerts.

A huge step forward will be in the first quarter of 2021. This is when Polkastarter is going to migrate from the Ethereum over to Polkadot. The migration will include multi-chain swaps, a full KYC integration, and Whitelist features.

In the second quarter of 2021, Polkaster wants to implement a dynamic ratio swap, sealed-bid auctions as well as the governance model.

Polkastarter 2.0 is going to be live by the end of 2021 with the launch of the full working Polkastarter DAO. The final version of Polkastarter will enable Polkadot-based token pools. Projects will be able to raise capital in a decentralized and interoperable environment.

My Final Conclusion

I believe that Polkadot can solve all the problems that Ethereum is not capable of solving right now. So the potential of the whole Polkadot ecosystem is huge and Polkastarter is going to be a big player in it. $POLS definitely has the potential of being a low market cap gem.
